The manufactured equipment is used in cars and commercial vehicles, in heavy and specialized equipment. There are also batteries for motorcycles and stationary.
This company produces both traditional calcium batteries and more modern hybrid, completely maintenance-free, as well as technology Agm and EFB.
Applied technologies and their features
The main technologies used in the manufacture of these batteries:
- Silver-calcium alloy technology. The addition of calcium increases equipment life and reduces fluid consumption. Silver reduces corrosion, increases resistance to high temperatures. As a result, the battery has extra strength and durability.
- Expanded Metal Technology (Ex-Met). This method allows you to get the lattice using not traditional casting, but by rolling and cutting. Such a grill is stronger than traditional.
- Continuous Casting (Con-Cast). Reduces the number of deviations in production, strengthens the internal structure of negative gratings. This method allows you to produce grilles even for heavy duty batteries.
- AGM technology. In batteries manufactured by this technology, the electrolyte is not in liquid, but in adsorbed form, as an impregnation for a special material. This enhances its adhesion to the working surface, eliminates spills and reduces evaporation.
- Drilling Method (Punch). Lattices are made in the form of a tape, the holes on which are applied by drilling. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to produce special lattice designs and enhance their contact with the active mass.
Continuous investment in the development of new technologies contributes to the improvement of production, from year to year.

Mutlu Battery Maintenance
Under this brand, various types of batteries are produced - from traditional to completely maintenance-free. Traditional and hybrid ones, which can be removed and refilled, require more frequent recharging, as well as periodic replenishment of the missing electrolyte. Maintenance free needs to be charged as needed.
All batteries require care from the owner:
- Avoid deep discharge and discharge;
- Avoid jolting and bumping the case;
- clean the housing, especially the ventilation openings and contacts, from contamination;
- remove oxidation from the terminals.
Before long-term storage, it is better to fully charge the equipment and remove it from the car, placing it in a place with not too high temperature.
How to charge Mutlu batteries
Regardless of the technology used, any battery sometimes needs to be charged. Most Mutlu batteries are equipped with a charge indicator, which tells you when it's time to charge. If this is not the case, then you can check with a multimeter, if the value is less than 12 volts, then the battery can be considered very discharged.
If the battery is serviced, open the plugs and top up if necessary. Do not screw plugs until charging is complete!
Charging is carried out by a special charger, which is first connected to the battery in compliance with the polarity, and then to the network. The current should be no more than 1/10 of the battery capacity. That is, if the battery capacity is 55 A, then the current must be set to 5 Amps or less.
A battery with an opening lid is considered charged when the density of the electrolyte in all cells reaches 1.280 g / cm3 at 20-35 degrees. After that, the battery is disconnected from the network. After half an hour, you can add water to it and start using it. In maintenance-free batteries, charging is carried out in strict accordance with the recommended voltage.
Important! Do not charge batteries that have just been brought in from frost. First they need to stand at room temperature to keep warm.
How to find out the release date and decrypt the code
Marking the release date of the battery of this brand is applied using a laser on the upper part of the housing. Marking includes six digits. The first is the line number, the second is the year, the third and fourth are the month, the fifth and sixth are the numbers.
For example, 410819 is printed on the case. This means that the battery was released on August 19, 2011, and it was produced on the fourth line.
Reviews
Vlad
He served for six years. We went often, both in the summer and in the winter, without rest, he almost did not stand. Of course, they didn’t take much risk, at minus 30, for example, the car was warmed up. But all the same - not a single failure has occurred over all these years. Great battery!
Anton
Reasonable price, reliable battery. I travel actively, for two years I have never failed.
Glory
Very reliable. Great for a frosty winter and for Russian cars, holds a charge well. I did not have to charge all winter, and I didn’t bring them home even in cold weather.
Did you have or have a battery Mutlu? Then tell us in the comments about your impressions about him, this will greatly help other motorists and will make the material more complete and accurate.
11/11/2012 bought a battery mutlu silver 12v 60Ach 520A (EN). 07/30/2018 Khan, she died. She transferred the battery and discharges to zero times 7 and frosty nights (if my “ten” did not start in the morning, helped the basics, I never thought that after such shocks the battery would winter from 2017 to 2018. Or the battery is successful or MUTLU steers!
Not a year has passed, as he died. No luck or something, or this bullshit Mutlu, just stood by the car, worked in normal mode, the electrician is in order.
I have the same trouble (I bought it in February 2018, and in December of the same year I died during the first frost at -13. We put it on a 60Ah charge at 2A. After 6h, the eye is still black.
Also new died in 3 weeks
In the paragraph "How to charge Mutlu batteries": practical use "0". What tension is not known to me.
Depending on the technology used, from 14.4 to 16.2 volts. At the moment, material is being prepared for each specific type of battery and then it will become more clear!
I agree completely with Alexander. Benefits 0.
MUTLU MEGA Silver Calcium 60Ah bought in 2010, today 02/06/2019. everything, the charge does not hold. I went all year round every day. The last 4 years I dashed off a little, the first time I put it on recharge in 2016. He had a 3 year warranty and is designed for 10 years of service. I haven’t had it better yet. the most demon problematic, before that the batteries served 2.3.4 years, no more.
My mutlu 75 served 11.5 years and died from a short circuit in the wiring, the insulation melted and dripped. The thing is that I took it dry without electrolyte. He poured it himself, charged it and complied with the rules - not an hour without a full charge. It is impossible to turn off the engine before parking to open the garage door, you cannot cut music without recharging ... There is a battery mafia that can withstand batteries in a warehouse without recharging in a half-discharged state. Because of this, the plates are sulfated and the service life is reduced significantly. A few months are enough without recharging and the service life drops from 12 years to 4. It is not profitable for plants and sellers to have batteries last a long time. Dry batteries are not supplied to Russia, there is a ban !!!
I use turbidity for the second time, the first one worked for 7 years, left with the sold car. The second is already 5 years old. WITHOUT PROBLEM. Daily Riding
