The Orion Pennant 32 charger has a compact housing made of plastic. To ensure the required level of ventilation, the device is equipped with elongated openings through which excess heat is effectively removed.
Also inside the device there is a built-in fan, which starts to work at certain current values. If for one reason or another, overheating of the electronic unit still occurs, then the light indication located at the bottom of the front panel of the charger turns on.
To control the current supplied to the battery terminals, the device is equipped with a pointer ammeter, the division price of which is 1 A. The maximum current value that can be measured using this display method is 20 A.

How to charge the battery using Pennant 32
You can charge the batteries using the Vympel 32 charger, both in automatic mode and in non-automatic mode.
In automatic
In automatic mode, the device itself will reduce the amperage at the moment when the battery is fully charged. In order to activate this method of charging the battery, you must:
- Set the voltage to 14.4 volts for AGM, EFB, GEL or 15 V for low antimony, hybrid and calcium batteries.
- Connect the terminals to the battery terminals observing the polarity.
- Move the current regulator to the leftmost position.
- Connect the device to the network.
- Set the required current level (10% of the battery capacity) For example, if the capacity of your battery is 90 A / h, then you need to turn the arrow to 9 Amps.
After all the steps according to the above instructions are completed, the device will independently charge the battery to the full level, while not allowing overcharging the battery. In general, in automatic mode, the battery is charged up to about 80-90% and this is enough. For those who want to charge up to 100% will have to be charged manually.
In non-automatic
When charging the battery in non-automatic mode, the device will not turn off by itself, so you will need to constantly monitor the level of battery charge recovery.
